Charter vs Own provides independent information, tools and data. Figures are researched, sourced inline, and dated; tools show their assumptions. Charter vs Own is an independent site operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any agency, association or operator named here. Nothing on it is aviation, marine, insurance, legal or tax advice. We take no commission and carry no paid placements. This estimator produces a figure from inputs you supply and is not a quote; only an operator can quote you. No hourly rates, surcharges or ownership costs are published here because both vary by aircraft, operator, region and season and no public source sets a market figure. The ownership crossover shown is deliberately simple and ignores residual value, depreciation, financing and tax, all of which require an aviation adviser and an accountant.
